Light Rail Comes to Life at The Tide on Granby

Though no tracks have been laid yet for The Tide, residents across Hampton Roads can catch a glimpse of a virtual version of the train at The Tide’s public outreach office, The Tide on Granby.

The eleven minute video simulation, which shows the train pulling
out of the Medical Center Station and traveling east to the lines’ end at Newtown Road, incorporates all 11 virtual stations, landscaping and other developments along of The Tide’s 7.4 mile route.This informative video will be used as a tool to help educate residents about the light rail system. Since it’s unveiling, this simulation has been used on numerous occasions by the media to illustrate the
light rail system.
