City of Norfolk Hires Filion as Construction Czar

On Monday, March 17, 2008, the City of Norfolk appointed
Paul A. Filion as Transportation and Downtown Construction
Project Manager.

Nearly twenty years ago, Filion began his career with the Ford Motor Company. He has managed teams of engineers, production volume and quality, and preventive maintenance programs; ensured plant safety; and, designed and managed million dollar facility projects.
His experience in managing complex, ground-breaking projects
with many important deadlines will suit him well working on light
rail and other downtown projects.
