The Tide web site, ridethetide.com, has received 34,951 hits since its launch last October. The web site is an information tool developed by HRT to keep citizens, business and property owners, government agencies and other interested stakeholders informed about the construction progress of The Tide light rail system.

The web site provides a project overview, key system features, funding, schedule, station overviews, photo gallery, business and employment opportunities, news and special announcements.    

The web site also includes pages dedicated to the public information program, light rail construction, the construction mitigation program, and safety. The press room page, designed for the media, provides 24-hour contact information, press releases, and local and national media coverage of the light rail system. The email subscription service allows people the opportunity to receive email alerts when new information is posted to the site, including construction updates. Citizens can also join the project mailing list to receive the e-newsletter and meeting notifications, submit comments and questions, or request a member of the project team to speak at community or neighborhood events.
