Over 100 Attend Opening of The Tide on Granby in Downtown Norfolk

HRT celebrated the grand opening of its public outreach office, The Tide on Granby, Tuesday, January 22. HRT officials welcomed nearly 100 people who gathered for an up-close look at the new office, located at 403 A Granby Street.

The Tide on Granby will provide the public with timely and direct access to public outreach staff for The Tide and Traffix, HRT’s regional program for transportation alternatives. During the three-hour event, The Tide staff was on-hand to answer questions and discuss light rail construction activities, business outreach programs, employment and contracting opportunities.

If you missed the grand opening, don’t worry. The office will operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and will have an ample supply of maps, schedules, newsletters, display boards and other information for public review.
