Safety Tips
Hey Kids! Light rail trains move quietly and operate near cars and people walking. Make sure to obey all of Safe T’s Tips:
- Tracks are only for trains. Don't play, walk or sit on train tracks
- When waiting for trains to pass always stand far away from the tracks.
- Be aware of crossing signals.
- Only cross the tracks at pedestrian crossings and look both ways before crossing.
- Never throw things at the train.
- Never place items on the track.
- Always stand behind the safety line when waiting on the station platform.
- Never climb on top or in between light rail cars.
- Never go around moving or lowered crossing gates
- Remember Operation Lifesaver's Message: Look! Listen! Live!
